Sleeping draught
The sleeping draught gives out eleven points which is more than all the other potions but it's one of the hardest potions to brew and has a very tight time limit. This is also the longest potion to brew so it's great if you need to be elsewhere for a while. With a little bit of patience, luck and Ravenclaw wisdom you'll soon master this potion.
Ingredients: Flobberworm mucus, mistletoe lavender, Valerian sprigs (see "ingredients" for help on where to find them)
Pewter cauldron – 70 minutes
Brass cauldron – 60 minutes
Copper cauldron – 53 minutes
Instructions
Step 1: Add four sprigs of lavender to the mortar. To make this easier pick up the lavender by the flower end and hold it upright before putting it in
(Click on screen shots to view full size)
Step 2: Add two
measures of standard ingredients to the mortar. To do this click and drag a
piece of standard ingredient from the bag and release it over the mortar. Check
the counter!
Step 3: Crush
into a creamy paste using the pestle. Continusesly
click on the pestle and a green meter will start to fill up, do this until the
green meter reaches the point inbetween the 2 lines. Note> it’s
easier and quicker to click on the actual mortar instead of the pestle.
Step 4: Add to blobs of flobberworm mucus to your cauldron. Balance
the bottle on the edge of the cauldron for easier control. The more you tilt it
the faster the blobs will come out and remember to keep an eye on the counter
instead of counting yourself.
Step 5: Add two measures of standard ingredients to your cauldron. See
step two but add to the cauldron this time. C.O.U.N.T.E.R
Step 6: Gently heat for 30 seconds. Click on the red button beneath
your cauldron and this will make a meter come up with 2 lines. The red button
will make the meter fill up at a fast rate, wait until it reaches in between the
2 lines, at this point a timer will appear. Then click the orange button which
will still increase the meter but at a slower speed. BEFORE the meter goes
above the 2 lines (which is where you must keep it between for the 30 seconds)
click the blue button which will decrease the meter. Keep alternating between
the orange and blue to increase and decrease the meter as necessary. When the
30 second timer runs out click the blue button to turn off the heat otherwise
you risk your cauldron exploding!
Step 7: Add three measures of your crushed ingredients to the
cauldron. Click and drag three lots of the crushed mixture from the mortar and
release it into the cauldron.
Step 8: Wave your wand. It’s by the bag of standard ingredients.
Step 1: Add 2
measures of standard ingredients to the cauldron. To do this click and
drag a piece of standard ingredient from the bag and release it over the
cauldron. Check the counter!
Step 2: Heat on a high temperature for 60 seconds. Click on the red
button beneath your cauldron and this will make a meter come up with 2 lines.
The red button will make the meter fill up at a fast rate, wait until it
reaches in between the 2 lines, at this point a timer will appear. Then click
the orange button which will still increase the meter but at a slower speed.
BEFORE the meter goes above the 2 lines (which is where you must keep it
between for the 60 seconds) click the blue button which will decrease the
meter. Keep alternating between the orange and blue to increase and decrease
the meter as necessary. When the 60 second timer runs out click the blue button
to turn off the heat otherwise you risk your cauldron exploding!
Step 3: Add four valerian sprigs to your cauldron. See step 1.
Note> you can add the valerian sprigs at the same time as you’re heating the
potion for 60 seconds to save time.
Step 4: Stir 7 times, clockwise. (à) Click and drag the spoon inside the
cauldron and drag it around in circles’ 7 times. Note> you may find it
easier to make big circles around the screen when doing this. Watch the counter
to see when you've reached 7.
Step 5: Wave your wand.
If you made it this far and were successful then
congratulations :)

Very nice detailed instructions with convenient illustrations. The Valerian Sprigs trick is what I like most - it's more than just a tip, it's a better way to brew the potion!
